For several years she operated her Point of View Stables in Chester County until family requirements took her down to Florida where she continued to train clients on a freelance basis. Pixie has dedicated her life to teaching everyone from beginners to advanced riders, adults and children alike and enjoys developing the relationship between riders and horses while instilling confidence in both. Hunter/Jumper trainer Ellen Derrick (formerly McGregor) is very pleased to announce her stable is relocating to a new, fully-equipped equestrian facility, Hetherbridge Farm, in Chester Springs, PA. Top Flight Stables at Hetherbridge Farm, is accepting new clients and boarders starting in January, 2017. Previously, Derrick operated McGregor Stables at Crebilly Farm in West Chester for 10 years.
Top Flight Stables, a hunter/jumper training and boarding facility offers individualized programs designed to maximize each horse and rider's goals and potential. Most of Derrick's clients compete in a full, year-round schedule of rated and local horse shows, while others choose to focus their training efforts at the farm. Derrick specializes in helping each horse and rider team to grow and learn together, through consistent quality instruction and training.
At their new location, Top Flight Stables provides a well-lit indoor ring (90'x200'), conveniently located close to the barn, as well as an outdoor grass riding arena(130'x250'). The facility includes spacious, well-ventilated, matted stalls; two indoor wash stalls with heat lamps; an outdoor wash stall with hot and cold water; large pastures; and a heated tack room.

Now in his mid-twenties, Ryan is one of the youngest four-star level riders in the world today. He represents the kind of committed professionalism required at the upper levels of any sport. Currently based with Olympian Phillip Dutton, Ryan offers lessons in dressage, show-jumping and cross-country riding. His instruction methods focus on improving the confidence and abilities of horses and riders at all levels of the sport. Schooling and competing horses, starting young horses, working with problem horses, and sales and acquisition of horses for clients are the main focus of Woodstock Eventing.
